What’s this all about.
Now there’s a perplexing question one could apply to anything in life, as well to life itself. Really.
Actually, I am just some guy who grew up loving motorcycles. So much I had my first one borrowed to me when I was 7 years old. It was a Honda 50cc, 3-speed (no clutch needed) dirt burner. I burn dirt it did – for several years around my parents’ house.
I graduated onto Honda 80cc, a Yamaha 175cc, and never owned a street bike until May 2008 when I purchased a 2008 XL883C Sportster Custom. I had ridden all kinds of street bikes, but had never owned one, but loved Harleys and the Sportster was in the right price range.
In just over 3 years, I have logged over 17,000 miles on it and have performed all service, maintenance, upgrades, modifications and such by myself.
This is just some guy’s blog about riding, the open road, wrenching on bikes, and maybe an occasional rant thrown in.
